DESIGN CHECKLIST

  • YOUR DESIGN IS LEGIBLE
Remember that people of all ages are looking through a windshield, in traffic, day and night. They must be able to see and read the sign quickly.

  • ALL DETAILS ARE CORRECT & PRESENT
Keep it simple. Crowding the sign with too many words or lines of text makes it impossible to read at a distance. More information can be given once the customer is in the door.

  • DESIGN GRABS ATTENTION
Do the colors have enough contrast to create easy legibility? Does your design command attention? Will it be memorable to your customers; making it a quick identifier to your business.

  • CONSISTENT BRANDING & MESSAGING
Keep your logos, fonts, language, and images consistent to avoid confusing your customer.

  • EVERYTHING IS SPELLED CORRECTLY
There’s nothing worse than a typo, and they happen.  Make sure you really look over your file to make sure everything is spelled correctly and that all numbers and addresses are correct.

  • ALL FILES ARE FORMATTED PROPERLY
If you are submitting your own files for production, they must be high-resolution and at size. We’re always happy to offer our design services to you to ensure you get the highest-quality.

KNOW YOUR BUDGET

There are many different options in materials and production that can alter the price.  If something costs too much for your budget let us know and we can see what your other opinions are.

INSTALLATION CHECKLIST

  • CALL 811
If you’re going to have a sign installed on site, it’s good to get 811 to come out and mark your lines. It’s free! It usually takes 3 days, so call ahead so not to delay your install.

  • SIGN PERMITS & RESTRICTIONS
Get in touch with your landlord, county, or city to become aware of any restrictions and to obtain any permits needed.

  • MARK YOUR SPOT
Before installation, mark the spot where you’d like your sign to go with flags or spray paint.
